Ernesto C. Tuazon
“What’s life without struggle?” An important lesson that my grandpa had taught my dad. This illustration is a memorial piece that honors the life of a wonderful husband, pediatrician, father and grandfather. I imagine he’s still sitting outside on the porch tending to his garden or running a doctors office in heaven. The flowers in this piece symbolize certain aspects of his personality. Amaryllis - Determination, Freesias - Selfless, Kalmia - Perseverance, and Salvia - Wisdom.
